I don't know how to log on as another user...I do that, will I still have access to all the programs & files? But after searching "volume mixer" in the Windows Help and Support through the start menu, I was able to open up the volume mixer. Make sure it is in your startup so it will load each time you have to restart your computer/PC/ Laptop.
I looked on several different websites and tried doing all the tasks they asked me to do, but nothing worked. Then the next time I clicked on the taskbar properties I was able to click the volume box. I have windows XP and this is how I fixed the problem on mine.
Here is a video that demonstrates some of the tweaks: Q: Which registry keys does 7 Taskbar Tweaker modify? A: The only registry keys the tweaker modifies are its own settings.
It shouldn’t slow down your system, and uses an extremely small amount of memory. In case you want to remove the tweaker’s settings from the registry, look for them here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\7 Taskbar Tweaker HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run (“7 Taskbar Tweaker” value) P. if you’re a programmer, you might want to take a look at the 7 Taskbar Tweaking Library. Also remember that the tweaker injects into explorer and modifies its memory, which is indeed suspicious. A: When installing the tweaker, choose the Portable type of install, as shown on the image below.
Enables the detection, download, and installation of updates for Windows and other programs.

Can the taskbar clock and other notification icons (speaker, network, etc.) be re-located from the primary screen taskbar to the secondary screen?
The Windows Update Control Panel also has the function of downloading Windows Ultimate Extras, optional software for Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.
Many of our readers asked us to help them put their Volume Mixer icon back to the notification area of their taskbar. The instructions are also illustrated above minus the shut down portion. lol Mon, 06/09/2008 - — Anonymous (not verified) GET BACK THE MISSING ICON OF VOLUME MIXER Hi, I had the same problem. Did you find a solution for this because I"m having the exact same problem. [Note: Steps 6 & 7 is the same as clicking on File on the Task Mgr menu, then selecting New Task (Run...).I went to my system icons and they all show as 'ON', and I tried hitting default behaviors too. Clicking any icon in the taskbar area near the clock while you have a keyboard that has options, like Japanese or Korean, and then having it switch to English, which doesn't have options, because the Taskbar's language is something else, causes the icon to "move" and then, if it is the last icon,...i need software that will allow me to change the time zone of the taskbar clock but i still want my computer to be set to my home time zone. I know I used to be able to change the style of this clock ( perhaps with XP) , Windows gave you lots of fancy options/styles to change this clock to.The tweaker does that by injecting a DLL to explorer, hooking/subclassing/some other methods of the dark side.As for extra processes, the tweaker is a native program, and is very lightweight. I guarantee that the tweaker binaries (and any other files on this site, unless specifically noted) are 100% clean.Other updates correct errors unrelated to security, or enhance functionality.
